Orange, CA, USA - May 2000 - Jon Goldman Associates
(JGA) now offers Browser-Based Data Mining Tools for use with
their data collection, mining, and reporting software systems.
Data captured during the semiconductor manufacturing process
can be viewed and accessed in graphical format, in real-time,
by using a browser and accessing the data at a specific location
through a company's intranet. Rather than having to run a
separate program on each PC for viewing graphical data, the
Internet Browser on the PC can go to a dedicated intranet
address and use the Graphics Utility tools from there. Goldman
System version 5 software monitors any tool in the semiconductor
fabrication process, provides detailed charts and reports
of what is occurring at each step along the process, and notifies
personnel when business rules have been violated. Included
in the easy-to-use software are tools for collecting, analyzing,
and viewing equipment data. Browser-based tools allow JGA's
products to be integrated easily with other daily tools that
engineers are already using on their PCs.

JGA's Graphics Utility includes all current data viewing
features, allowing open access from any PC with access to
the user's company intranet. The data is easier to use and
access because it can be retrieved through the intranet using
a browser rather than opening another program on a Jon Goldman
Associates Offers Browser-Based Data Mining Tools for Fab
Process Management and Analysis PC. Explains Kerry Eszlinger,
Director of Operations for JGA, "The key benefit of Browser-based
Data Mining tools is that they offer built-in data viewing
capability on every PC. Browser-based tools make data mining
a part of everyday life because an engineer can obtain the
data from any PC he wants to use. Every user is familiar with
the look and feel of the browser and is quick to pick up on
new Browser-based tools since their commonality offers ease
of use and efficiency."
Jon Goldman Associates, based in Orange, CA, has been
providing data mining software solutions to the semiconductor
industry for over ten years. Founder and President Dr. Jon
Goldman has been serving the semiconductor industry for more
than 25 years. He is the holder of several patents, including
LPCVD deposition of Silicon Nitride, LTO, and BPSG. JGA's
data analysis tools are widely used in the industry by both
end users and equipment manufacturers to reduce down time
and wafer scrap by implementing and improving SPC control.
