The Recipe Manager module of the GMI Host provides a complete set of utilities for creating, editing, comparing, copying, and transferring recipes. It provides three distinct libraries for recipe storage: Production, Engineering and Maintenance.

Each recipe is given a name and a number. The form shown above displays pertinent summary information about each recipe. This form allows the user to select the desired recipe merely be clicking on it. This form also shows recipe status.

The user can then right-click on the desired recipe and select "edit..." to open the Recipe Editor (shown below). With the Recipe Editor, the user can view, add, modify, and delete the contents from within the chosen recipe.

The Recipe Manager has an optional "SourceSafe Module" - a database in which the entire edit history of all recipes is housed. It shows whether a recipe is under SourceSafe control, if it is checked out for modifications, if a local copy matches the SourceSafe copy, etc. If SourceSafe is not available this form shows whether the file is Read Only or Write Enabled. It also shows which recipes are assigned to which Supervisor.
